Malayalam movie industry has always witnessed sequels, though there were more flops than hits. Still, every sequel is welcomed with great anticipation and excitement. Sajin Raaghavan's "Padmasree Bharath Dr.Sarojkumar" has arrived at the theaters roaring out "satirical comedy", but after the first show, the question being asked is if it has delivered the "comedy" it promised. Rathinirvedam Review

‘Rathinirvedam’ is a ‘coming of age’ story, one that tells the story of a young guy Pappu (Sreejith) getting obsessed with a much elder Rathi (Shwetha Menon). Pappu, who comes to spend his vacations at his mother’s village, gets attracted towards Rathi Chechi, an attraction that gets transformed into lust and ends up in a relationship that’s bound to change lives. Beethoven Music College is where Vrinda (Richa Panai) arrives to study classical music. She is surprised to see Vasu (Rahul Madhav) as her senior, since they have just had an underwater rendezvous a few days back. Apparentl...

Seniors Review

I won’t say that Vysakh’s ‘Seniors’ is an outstanding movie. I wouldn’t say it’s a bad movie either. I liked it, but to be frank I expected it to be much better, a full-length laugh riot in pace of a comedy-suspense mix. And the suspense aspect, it didn’t work that well with me, I guessed the whole thing much before half time. But I did like the movie, it’s OK for one watch. There are some good moments, there are things that could have been better but I should add, as an after-thought, that there are scenes that could have been worse too. So, just enjoy the movie, for...
